Join us for a workshop that celebrates the preservation of Cambodian culture and ceramics! You'll have the opportunity to carve your own clay piece and have it glaze-fired to a color of your choice.

About the instructor: Vanndearlyn Vong is an instructor at Pot Studios LA and a Cambodian Chinese American artist whose practice is dedicated to revitalizing traditional Khmer ceramics. Preserving Khmer ceramics is vital to the continuation of Vanny's culture and a form of resistance to the 1975 Cambodian genocide. Vanny studied under one of only two currently living Cambodian ceramic masters who survived the genocide. She imparts this cultural art form through education and advocacy.
